Departmental Objective: The Center for Career Planning educates students about the lifelong process of career development and engages them in exploration of their interests, abilities, and values. Toward these ends, we tailor services to the individual needs of students; provide resources for career planning; and promote the value of a CNU liberal arts education. The Center also facilitates collaboration among students, alumni, employers, faculty, graduate school recruiters, and the community in developing a diverse global network, which supports students' attainment of their career goals.
Purpose of the Position: The Career Operations Manager serves integral roles in recruiter relations, data management/ specialized report creation and analyses, oversight of the Center's operations, student career coaching, and event management. The Career Operations Manager exercises decision making authority on policy, procedures and operations for data management and analysis, specialized report creation, and oversight of the Center's operations and provides excellent customer service to students, alumni, employers, university staff, and other members of the community. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position: - Demonstrated experience with technology, such as career management software, computer databases, spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and publishing software.

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required : Education:- High school graduate or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma
Experience:- Experience with technology, including the management of large data sets and data analysis
- Experience using spreadsheet functions such as formulas and pivot tables
Additional Consideration(s): Education:- Bachelor's degree in related field
- College coursework in statistical analysis
Experience:- Experience supervising personnel and/or operations in a multi-person office
- Previous experience in a college/university office/department
- Experience with federal, state, University and office practices and guidelines, procedures and equipment
