Role Summary: The purpose of this position is to help MCC students in workforce programs experience success through achieving their educational and career goals. This position is responsible for providing proactive advice and student enrollment for students with declared programs; promoting academic and/or financial independence skills to students, making referrals to other appropriate program or department representatives, external agencies; and other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility: The position will not have direct supervisory responsibility but will be responsible for assisting with the design and implementation of processes and systems utilized in the daily operation of Workforce Development and Community Outreach Initiatives. May serve as formal work group leader for staff, student workers, interns, and consultants.
Minimum Requirements
1. Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business, human services, education or related field. 2. One (1) year of professional experience in a related role in education, human services, or business. 3. Must possess good organizational skills and be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. 4. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Suites (word, excel, PowerPoint), Google Suites (zoom, google meet), web-based software and resources.
