CARE Team Outreach Coordinator
ROLE OVERVIEW
This position, a key member of the University's CARE team, provides critical support for students experiencing challenges that negatively impact their wellbeing and ability to achieve academic success. An ideal applicant would have experience in mental health assessment, crisis management and trauma response, and referral skills for appropriate resources (both on and off campus). This position works collaboratively with many student services departments.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
This position is full-time, 11 months per year, and is benefits-eligible.
On-campus housing and meal plan are provided as part of compensation.
MIN $55,000 MAX $65,000
Position is an 11-month term so actual salary range may be $50,400 to $59,600

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide case management support services for students experiencing high acuity needs (either mental health or other crises)
- Help provide continuity of care in a trauma sensitive manner between campus departments and community resources.
- Serve in a triaged on-call rotation along with colleagues to respond to emergent student concerns.
