Facility in Half Moon Bay, CA seeking Urgent Care locums coverage Rates: $150/hr Position Overview This facility is seeking 1 Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician (or Internal Medicine Physician comfortable seeing children) to provide urgent care and primary care services for all ages (excluding infants) on a locum tenens basis. The assignment will run from ASAP through the end of May 2025.
Schedule & Coverage Details - Shift Schedule:
- Wednesday Saturday: 9:00 AM 8:00 PM (1-hour lunch/dinner break).
- Commitment to these days and times is required.
- Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care/Primary Care.
- Patient Volume: patients per day.
Duties & Responsibilities - Deliver urgent care and primary care services for all age groups, including children (but not infants).
- Perform routine urgent care procedures.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation.
Requirements - Board Certification:
- BC/BE in Family Medicine.
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine if comfortable treating children.
- Licensure: Active California medical license (required).
- Certifications:
- DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS (as applicable).
- Other Requirements:
- Clean malpractice history (strongly preferred).
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
