We are seeking a skilled Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in Oregon. This opportunity, starting on May 5, 2025, requires a provider to work four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with basic Family Medicine and experienced in Urgent Care settings. This assignment offers the potential for extension and provides an excellent opportunity for a qualified Nurse Practitioner to contribute their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
  • Administer vaccinations as needed
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, cold, cough, flu, and ear infections
  • Provide COVID-19 related care and treatment
  • Perform in-office urgent care procedures
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Adhere to all clinic protocols and safety standards

Additional Information :

  • Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Oregon
  • Experience in Urgent Care and Family Medicine settings is required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
