We are looking for an enthusiastic Coordinator who can develop and plan programs, outings and events, and provide a wonderful experience for residents, working within a generous wellbeing and activities budget for the home

Experience as an Activities Co-ordinator in a similar residential care home will be ideal for this role, especially experience working with the older people
A good level of both written and spoken English will essential requirement for the role.

Responsibilities:
- Organise and plan activity programmes reflecting service users preferences and keep up to date records using Person-centred software care planning program (PCS)
- Assist the Group marketing consultant with the production of quarterly newsletters to inform service users and their relatives/friends about what is going on in the home.
- Support service users to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype and FaceTime
- Plan events within allocated budget
- Ensure service users are at the heart of planning events, activities and outings of their choice to enhance their wellbeing.
- Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
