Care Coordinator Compensation

The pay for this position is $20/hr

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Care Coordinator Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday

Training schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST for the first 4-6 weeks; virtual attendance is mandatory

100% Work From Home (Remote)
Care Coordinator Responsibilities

Create and complete accurate referrals and applications in a centralized CRM system
-
Resolve patient questions and concerns related to their healthcare journey
-
Enter detailed, accurate, and clear notes into company software while on calls
-
Make outbound follow-up and confirmation calls to patients
-
Provide empathetic and supportive experiences by educating and guiding patients
-
Communicate with referral sources including healthcare providers
-
Manage patient accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial
Care Coordinator Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
-
2-4 years of customer-facing experience or relevant combination of education and experience
-
Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and video conferencing tools like Teams and Zoom
-
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
-
Must have a distraction-free, private home workspace
-
Must have high-speed internet (wired connection required)
-
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications

Previous call center or healthcare experience highly preferred

Knowledge of insurance billing and pharmacy operations a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask and transcribe while speaking

Self-motivated, independent worker with strong time management

Professional, empathetic, and patient-centric attitude

Desire to grow into a senior-level role
