Care APP Position

Summary: Surgical assistants provide aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative functions to assist surgeons in safe operations and optimal patient outcomes. They also handle preoperative and postoperative tasks under surgeon supervision and in compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Responsibilities: Assist surgeons throughout all stages of surgery, ensure safe patient positioning, perform specific tasks as per surgeon preference, apply dressing materials, assist in patient transfer, and carry out additional procedures as directed. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited Surgical First Assist Program, State Board accredited Vocational School of Nursing, or School of Surgical Technology. 2 years of Surgical Tech experience preferred. BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant, ACLS certifications required. Work Schedule: 4 Days - 10 Hours Work Type: Full Time
