Seeking a Cardiovascular Surgeon with an interest in and ability to perform cardiovascular surgery, to join our clinical faculty and regional Level 1 Trauma Center.
Join a team of 2 Cardiovascular Surgeons, 4-6 Nurse Practitioners, and support staff
Academic, Inpatient/Outpatient
Expected Open Heart Cases: 268 per year
1st Assist for vein harvesting available
Level 1 Trauma Center serving the East Texas region
On-Site Heart Valve Center (MitraClip, TAVR, valve replacement) with 9 cardiologists
Referrals coming from cath lab and valve center
EMR: Epic
Requirements
ABS board certification or eligibility as Cardiovascular Surgeon
Surgical Fellowship Training in Cardiovascular Surgery
Experienced and graduating Cardiovascular Surgery Physicians are encouraged to apply.
