National Account Executive Cardiovascular (Tier 1 Health Systems & IDNs)
Amgen is building a new strategic capability to partner at the highest levels of the nations most influential health systemsand were just getting started. As a National Account Executive (NAE) for our cardiometabolic portfolio, you wont just be managing accountsyoull help shape how Amgen shows up as a true thought partner to health system leaders navigating the future of value-based care.
This is a rare opportunity to be on the ground floor of a high-impact capability that will reimagine how pharmaceutical companies engage with health systems. The NAE will align Amgens innovations with Tier 1 health systems on system-wide initiatives that improve patient outcomes & operational performance.
While the role includes select branded opportunities, the primary focus will be on unbranded partnershipsupporting systems in closing care gaps, addressing quality metrics, and enabling transformation through co-developed solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with executive decision-makers (e.g., CMOs, Chief Pharmacy Officers, Population Health leaders) to co-develop scalable initiatives that address care gaps and elevate cardiometabolic performance across the continuum.
Lead the development and execution of national account strategies, aligned with the health systems clinical, financial, operational and strategic goals.
Help define what great looks like by shaping this new capability in real-time, bringing bold ideas, cross-functional leadership, and customer insight into every engagement.
Serve as the connective tissue between field teams, account-based marketing, health system medical affairs, and health ITensuring a unified and system-relevant approach.
Translate science and strategy into action by unlocking system wide initiatives across care settingsfrom primary care to cardiology subspecialties.
Bring the voice of the customer back to Amgen, helping evolve how we design, communicate, and deliver value to our most complex partners.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree AND 2 years of Sales and/or Account Management experience
OR
Master's degree AND 4 years of Sales and/or Account Management experience
OR
Bachelor's degree AND 6 years of Sales and/or Account Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of account management and/or commercial leadership experience strongly preferred
8 or more years of healthcare sales and/or marketing experience or related experience in buying processes and decision making
District Manger experiencepreferred
Knowledge of top IDN and health systems structure, protocols, clinical and operations staff roles and responsibilities
Knowledge of macro-level trends in the external healthcare environment that are influencing IDN and health system clinical and investment decisions
Additional qualifications:
Demonstrate strategic thinking and an enterprise point-of-view
Demonstrate leadership ability with a focus on influence, impact and leading with and without authority
Demonstrate strong business industry and customer acumen
Ability to identify, engage, and compel key C&D-suite executives in top IDNs and health systems
Ability to identify and procure appropriate Amgen resources to achieve account objectives
Ability to analyze, interpret and draw insights from IDN/system economics/financial performance
Excellent interpersonal skills, which include networking, influencing, negotiation, presentation and written and verbal communication
Ability to work in afast-pacedenvironment and handle multiple competing priorities
Creative,forward thinking, problem-solvingskills
Ability to take initiative, impart energy and enthusiasm, and work in teams
Broad range of computer skills

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
