Job Summary:
Established cardiothoracic surgery program at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia is seeking an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon.
Qualified Candidates:- 5+ year of experience preferred
- Robotics training/experience preferred
- Robotic lung experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be comfortable with non-cardiac pulmonary procedures
- TAVR experience is required
- Qualified candidates must have experience with open cardiac procedures: CABG, mitral and aortic valve, and aortic replacements (including dissections)
- Must be board certified within 5 years of completing training
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Virginia
- Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
- Leadership opportunity available, if desired
