Cardiothoracic Surgery Opening in Boise, Idaho (Locum Tenens)
Location: Boise, Idaho
Dates: ASAP - Ongoing, specific dates TBD
Rates: Negotiable (tell us your rate)
Schedule: 7am - 7am, weekend call and PTO coverage
Coverage Type: Call Only
Practice Setting: Inpatient
EMR System: Epic
Job Details:
Provide coverage for occasional weekend call and PTO coverage.
Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Dedicated CT Surgery OR available.
Supported by 4 rotating PAs in the OR.
Required Procedures:
Adult cardiac surgery
General thoracic surgery
Aortic dissection
CABG
Tube thoracostomy
Pericardial window
Thoracotomy lung resections and pneumonectomy
Heart valve repair/replacement surgery
Dissection
VA + VV ECMO placement
Requirements:
Successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency and CT fellowship program
Board Certified
Active Idaho license (No exceptions)
ACLS and DEA certification
Clean background and no malpractice history
Support Staff:
4 rotating PAs to assist in the OR
Additional Details:
This position requires an initial phone interview before final selection.
Providers must be fully credentialed before beginning work.
Travel requirements and lodging are arranged by the facility.
