Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Cardiology Physician to work locum shifts in West Valley City (UT). Starting in October 2025- ongoing into 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Cardiology role:
- 24 hour call coverage - 7a-7a
- General Cardiology and STEMI call
- Facility Location: HCW & HCJ
- Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level III
- Days per month: 10-12 days per month
- Required Procedures: Cath, Impella, Balloon
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: Echo Tech, RN
- Reason for Coverage: Provider shortage
- Dealbreakers: Must be willing to provide concurrent call coverage.
Critical Dates
- Oct 29 (7a) - Nov 3 (7a)
- Dec 26 (4p) - Jan 5 (7a)
- Ongoing dates will begin Jan 2026.
Requirements:
- UT state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC
- Board Eligible or Certified Cardiology
- DEA
