Job Opportunity: General Cardiologist
Join a dynamic team at a well-established facility located in Sylva, NC. The practice is dedicated to comprehensive care and is seeking a General Cardiologist to expand their provider pool. The hospital is chest pain accredited, ensuring a focus on high-quality patient outcomes. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with ongoing scheduling needs, including hospital rounding, consults, and clinic patient care. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital rounding and consults with onsite hospitalists handling admissions and patient bed assignments.
- Perform report reads including EKGs and ECHOs.
- Manage a clinic patient load of 2-4 hours daily, Monday through Friday.
- Be on call for hospital needs as required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Cardiology (eligible candidates will be considered).
- Fellowship training in a relevant specialty is preferred.
- Collaboration skills and a commitment to patient care.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a team environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active medical license required (temporary privileges may be available).
- Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine.
- Prior hospital privileges preferred but not mandatory.
