Job Summary

Novant Health is looking for a compassionate, caring General Cardiologist to join our rapidly growing heart & vascular team in Mooreseville, NC. The qualified candidate will join two other cardiologists and one APP.

The position is open due to growth in the region. It offers a highly competitive compensation in a desirable metro area, a collegial and supporting group of colleagues and a 4.5-day work week.

Novant Health Heart & Vascular in the Greater Charlotte region of North Carolina is a large multi-specialty institute spanning several hospitals in the region providing state-of-the art integrated inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.

Mooresville, NC , is contiguous to beautiful Lake Norman and among its fastest-growing areas with easy access to the mountains and beaches.

Our Heart & Vascular Team
  • Has average door-to-balloon time of 45 minutes for treating heart attacks, placing Novant Health in the top 10 percent nationally.
  • Surgical specialists were among the first in the nation approved to use minimally invasive surgical techniques.
  • Conducts multidisciplinary conferences to review patients with unusual or challenging vascular conditions.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
