Cardiology Physician

I am working with Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital in Ellsworth, ME and they are looking for some Non-Invasive Cardiology coverage over the next several months. I wanted touch base with you to see if you might have any availability to help out. This facility is willing to look at unlicensed candidates to fill this need. We would be willing pay for and facilitate the Maine licensure process with a commitment from the physician. A temporary Maine licensure takes 30-45 days to obtain at this point in time. This facility is looking for coverage June 2nd ongoing
Schedule: M-F 8-5
Weeknight call each night working
No weekend call coverage
Average of 14 patients per shift
30 minute clinic visits
Support Staff: 3 midlevels
Basic diagnostic interpretation required
EMMC cardiology is available for consults as needed
Duties over the course of our day would also include assisting in hospital coverage of call/consult as needed (only during clinic business hours), and reading/interpretation of study queues over the course of the day - these would be fully staffed clinical days (more than one doctor on).
On days where the locum where the only doctor "on" for the practice, they would be expected to run a shorter clinical day of 50-75% visit volume of a normal day, allowing them the afternoon/end of the day for study/call/consult need clean-up prior to end of day.
To clarify: Studies/reads for this group include interpretation of onsite echoes, stress tests, stress echoes, holters, event monitors, EKGs, nuclear medicine studies, and (soon) cardiac CT. Prioritization of studies would fall to urgent/inpatient studies first on a day-to-day basis, with the remaining queue volume being managed by the team of providers throughout the course of the days. There would also be capacity/availability to perform TEEs and cardioversions onsite when needed.

Board Certification is required
$290 per hour with an 8 hour guarantee M-F
$350 per weeknight call
$348 per hour for any hour worked over the 8 hour guarantee M-F or any hour worked in the facility while on call
