Adventist Health + Rideout is looking for an experienced Cardiology NP/PA to join our EP team as we continue to expand our new Electrophysiology program in Yuba City, CA. Working alongside our EP Cardiologist, candidate will experience shadowing current physician and gaining knowledge of the program and procedures. Initially, the schedule will be a 50/50 split of inpatient rounding and clinic days but this may change as the program develops. There is no ED call coverage however, there is a need for ER consults. Early on, there would be no requirement to perform procedures but there is an opportunity to grow into seeing post ablation and cardiac device implant patients as well as routine follow ups in hospital and office. Incoming provider will be responsible for remote device follow up (download tracings and reviews). Perfect candidate would be willing to learn, a team player and experience and/or passion for cardiology.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must have the confidence and experience to work independently with diverse patient populations and experience in accessing specialty referrals and community resources. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.

      Requirements

      • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with unrestricted license
      • Minimum 3 years of experience as an NP or PA preferred

      Desired:
      Bilingual in Spanish or Punjabi
      One-year clinical experience as a Physician Assistant with Cardiology experience

Performances, musical events, poetry readings and multi-cultural celebrations are offered at Yuba Sutter Arts; Fine art galleries are located in both Yuba City and Marysville; Award-winning dance studios offer ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz and modern dance to local youth and adults.

        Yuba City hosts the Summer Stroll and Christmas Stroll, Punjabi American Festival, 4th of July Parade and the Sikh Parade. Marysville hosts the Peach Festival and Christmas Parade, as well as the Bok Kai Festival which is the longest continuously running festival in California. There are Christmas parades in nearby Olivehurst and Liveoak. In Wheatland, the Toyota Amphitheater - an outdoor theater, located near Plumas Lake and Wheatland California with the capacity of 18,500 is used for concerts, stage shows and other special events.

        Portions of the Plumas and Tahoe National forests sit in Yuba County, providing numerous campgrounds and day-use facilities. Hikers enjoy the Sutter Buttes, the world's smallest mountain range, rising 2,130 feet above sea level in a ten-mile circle in Sutter County
