Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a daily patient census of 4-8 patients per provider.
• Respond to codes with medical doctor support.
• Perform patient rounds and manage patient care in a CVICU setting.
• Collaborate with a provider during the initial transition period for seamless integration.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient records.

Work Schedule:

• August - November:
  • 3 (10) hour days
  • Shifts: 7am-5pm or 10am-8pm
  • Work Days: Wednesday to Friday
  • No night or weekend shifts required.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of cardiac experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Valid CDS and DEA licenses.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.

Additional Information:

• Temporary privileges can be granted within 2-3 weeks.
• Coverage needed for MAT/PAT and vacation gaps.
