LOCUM Cardiologist 128055: Northeast, Indiana Mon-Thur - Onsite Day Coverage: 7 am - 430 pmMon- Thur Oncall: Start On Call at 4:30 pmFri: Onsite Day Coverage: 7 am-5 pmFri: Oncall: Start On Call at 5 pmSat: 24 Hour CoverageApprox 4 hours onsite (Arrive 6 am to begin rounding)Sun: 24 Hour CoverageApprox 4 hours onsite (Arrive 6 am to begin rounding)Job responsibilities:Daily rounding on all inpatients (ICU, stepdown) and new consults as well as discharging patientsOR - EVH hemapro 2; help train new APPs on EVH; some open vein harvest may be needed with some fem-pop surgeries usually done in a bridging techniqueFirst assist on some cases once you learn our surgeon's routines - there may be OR call for emergencies while on call for the weekend if neededOur specialties:Cardiac - all adult cardiac surgeries (CAB, valves, aortic dissections, etc); we have a high acuity of patients, some very sickThoracic - mostly robotic surgeries but some VATs and thoracotomies; inclusive of all thoracic surgeries except no esophageal (lobectomies, wedge resections, decortications, mediastinal mass, etc)Vascular - all types of open vascular surgeries (CEA, AAA, leg revascularizations, etc)Heart failure - LVAD, ECMO, impellersBecome an ICON: Never worry about your travel accommodations again.
