Locums - Sylva, North Carolina, Non-Invasive Cardiology Openings Clinical Role:

•  ASAP - Ongoing Need
•  Schedule will be 24 hours call
•  07:00-07:00 Call Coverage
•  Ongoing Need Available
•  Clinic Hours: M-F 1:00pm - 3:00pm
•  Hospital rounding and consults (Onsite hospitalists will admit and bed patients and consult on as necessary.)
•  Report reads (EKGs, ECHOs, etc)
•  2 - 4 hours clinic patients (Monday through Friday only)
•  Call availability for hospital as needed
•  Facility will accept multiple providers
•  Admissions Required
•  During evening hours, most calls are handled by phone and call back into the hospital is rare
•  Physicians are not required to be on-site while providing Call Support
•  Specialty Specific Situations when the on-call Locum would be called to the hospital:
•  High Risk NSTEMI
•  Active Chest Pain
•  Consults for patients with a variety of diagnoses with cardiac co-morbidities
•  Phone Consults: 0-10
•  Patients Seen: 0-10
•  Admissions: 0-2
•  30 Minutes call response time required
•  Assigned/Unassigned Patients
•  Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
•  Active NC License - Required
•  Fellowship Preferred
•  ACLS Required
•  EMR: McKesson Paragon
