- Other Details: The facility is seeking a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist with at least 3 years of experience to provide part-time coverage starting April 1, 2025. This role includes 24-hour call and cath lab coverage at two cross-credentialed sites, with support from hospital staff but no APPs. The preferred schedule is 1 2 weeks at a time, such as 1 week on/1 week off, with shifts running Sunday to Sunday (7a 7a) and cath lab hours Monday through Friday, 7a 5p. Candidates must live within a 5-hour driving radius and have ACLS and BLS certifications. Duties include covering STEMIs, cardiac caths, interventions (including PCI and PE), with consult-only responsibilities hospitalists handle admissions. On-call expectations include 30-minute response times, and while call-ins vary, staff are typically called in about 10 times per month. No CT surgery is onsite; cases are transferred to Harrisburg as needed. This is an inpatient-only, adult-focused role with a patient load of 0 8, typically 2 3 daily.
