Details:

Dates of Coverage: January 2025 through June 2025, with potential for extension
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (7 days a week)
No Call Required
Full Travel Reimbursement: Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage (at IRS standard rate)
Supportive Team: Work with a local APP, as well as other cardiologists in the group
Patient Volume: Average of 6 consults per day; rounding on 24 patients daily
Documentation System: EPIC

Requirements:

Board-certified cardiologist with current ACLS certification
Michigan License (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with echocardiography, electrical cardioversions, and stress tests is preferred

Facility Overview:

348 Total Beds, including 30 ICU Beds
Trauma Level II
A busy facility with a primary focus on inpatient cardiology consults
Patient Demographic: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with complex cardiology needs
