Woodland Heights Medical Center & Advanced Cardiology and Electrophysiology, located in the heart of Lufkin, TX, invites you to become a vital part of our cardiology medical community. This independent/aligned group is focused on helping
patients improve and maintain their overall health while empowering an understanding of diagnosis and wellness plans.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Invasive/Interventional Cardiologist to join our aligned cardiology team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in a collaborative and
patient-centered environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for excellence in clinical care, a commitment to patient advocacy, and a desire to contribute to the continued growth and success of our practice.

Details:

  • 2 Cath labs , 1 49 bed hospital
  • Accredited by Joint Commission for Heart Failure
  • Anticipated call schedule - ER (inpatient) coverage: 1:5, practice call: 1:4
  • APP support in clinic and inpatient services
  • 1 clinic near 2 local hospitals
  • In-clinic superficial vein treatments, vascular ultrasound, echocardiography
  • In-house cardiovascular surgeon
  • Opportunity to preceptor medical students from local medical school (optional)
  • Must be U.S. board certified or board eligible
  • Experienced candidates and current fellows welcome to apply
  • 2 hours from Houston, TX
