Responsibilities Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is fulfilling our vision of transforming healthcare by expanding our team. We have an opportunity for a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist at our St. Joseph Medical Center location in Tacoma, Washington.
This Cardiologist will be part of the Franciscan Medical Group multi-specialty practice serving the greater Puget Sound region of Washington State.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Center for Cardiovascular Health: The Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH encompasses over 150 providers, including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists, among other specialists. Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high volume program performing over 1100 open heart surgeries, 2400 PCIs and 2000 ablations annually. We provide care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics annually and provide inpatient services for our healthcare system that includes over 1500 beds and 8 hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.

Qualifications - BC/BE; American Board of Cardiology.
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority required for the specific practice.
