Job-8706 Seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to work at the discretion of the overseeing clinical provider in combination with the Cardiology Practice Manager, the Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for the performance of the echocardiograms (transthoracic echo, transesophageal echo, exercise stress echo). Must-Haves RDCS from ARDMS, CCI OR CRCS by CARDUP required within one year of hire. Ability to work in fast paced environment Effective communication and organization skills Nice-To-Haves 3 years of Echocardiography experience or equivalent education and training preferred Maintain echocardiography services in accordance with standards established by the American Society of Echocardiography as well as State and Federal agencies. Daily technical operation of the laboratory. Working with the Medical Director, medical staff and technical staff to ensure quality patient care. Perform echo exams on patients as ordered by physicians with first priority given to trauma and critically ill patients. QUALIFICATIONS: Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) by the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) is required within one year of hire. Three years of Echocardiography experience or equivalent education and training preferred. Salary negotiable based on experience, full benefits package plus sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
