Job Description: As an Echo and Vascular Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and vascular studies. Your role is crucial in helping physicians diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound examinations.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound data to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an Echo and Vascular Technician (RDCS, RVT, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in performing echocardiograms and vascular studies.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a Full time on-site role for a Cardiac Sonographer at Cardiology Consultants of Southwest Florida, located in Fort Myers, FL. The Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiology procedures, utilizing American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification, and working closely with the medical team to provide accurate diagnostic images and reports.
