Cardiac Monitoring Center Manager - San Francisco

About the role:
As a Cardiac Monitoring Center Manager, you will lead the site, including certified ECG Technicians and Supervisors, ensuring they are appropriately trained and meeting quality and performance expectations. Drive innovation and continuous improvement using your talents to transform patient outcomes. This Monitoring Center in CA is an ancillary site and requires this role to also support facilities operations on a limited scale. Partnering with your team, you will create solutions for Monitoring Center challenges and enhance the quality, cost, and delivery of services for patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising, leading, coaching, and providing work direction to a team of supervisors who lead Certified ECG lab technicians, including performance management, new hire onboarding, and cross-training.
- Running day-to-day operations of the Monitoring Center, ensuring all workflows are appropriately staffed.
- Working as part of a core team with Clinical Education, Medical Safety, and Customer Support to enhance the team and processes performed.
- Driving innovation and change by communicating key business initiatives, promoting employee engagement, and specifically acting as a lean deployment leader; challenging the status quo.
- Meeting quality and accuracy objectives by ensuring compliance with quality systems, supporting continued education and clinical education initiatives, and coaching and mentoring team members.
- Developing and achieving Monitoring Center plans, and proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Developing and communicating departmental goals to achieve established core metrics and possessing the ability to present metrics and administer the annual Tech bonus program.
- Investigating the root cause of non-conformances, and supporting remediation and communication to stakeholders.
- Leading by example by consistently adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the integrity of data and executing required tasks in corporate data systems.
- Fostering an inclusive and positive work environment focused on enhancing employee engagement and retention.
- Possibly directing and controlling the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs, and/or operations.
- Maintaining flexibility in scheduling. As we support patients 24/7, there is an infrequent possibility that a shift change might occur, or coverage is needed on holidays.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years prior people leadership experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred qualifications:
- Medical Device, ECG, or regulatory environment experience.
- Soft skills - proven ability to influence others.

The anticipated compensation listed above will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
