Employment Status: PRN
Compensation: Minimum $32.66, commensurate with experience and certification.

Summary
While upholding the Star Valley Health mission, vision and values this key position whose function it is to monitor the procedures in operating rooms during surgery. The circulator collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. This position is at will.
Job Duties
Prepares patients for cardiac catheterization, PCI, pacemaker and other cardiac procedures
Operates angiographic fluoro equipment as well as specialty auxiliary equipment including but not limited to Ultrasound, Acist, FFR, IVUS and shockwave
Competent in scrubbing, circulating and monitoring patient hemodynamics
Supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac patients, critically thinking and working as a team to create best patient outcomes
Upholds technical skills that will be in compliance with regulatory bodies, infection control practices and all policies and procedures in place
Works cohesively in a team environment to accomplish the same goal
Exercises skilled judgement in applying professional knowledge with problem solving
Serves as a resource for additional staff needing training
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter pertaining to the Cardiac cath lab and beyond

Requirements:
Abilities & Skills:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, prioritizes work to meet the changing needs of the department
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Sound analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to recommend solutions
Working knowledge of angiographic equipment and other ancillary equipment
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, leadership and peers
Capable of making quick decisions
Ability to react calmly and effectively in busy or emergent situations
Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, with some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Requires exposure to communicable diseases and/or bodily fluids
Experience & Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree or higher
Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of WY
Holds at least one of the follow licenses and must be in current and good standing: ARRT, CEPS, RCES, RCIS, RCVT
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Two years recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
Computer literate, experience with EMR
