Job Description:

We seek a strong closer with sales experience who is willing to go the extra mile in raising capital. Must have experience working with accredited investors. Focus on securing funding for exciting, community-enhancing real estate development projects in high-growth areas. We provide a fantastic return to our investors. This role involves strategic planning, networking, follow-up, and detailed fund pitches to ensure successful capital acquisition. MUST be local to Dallas, Texas, and work onsite in our downtown office. Please READ to the end.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising:

  • Implement comprehensive fundraising strategies tailored to the company's financial needs and growth objectives.
  • Utilize Follow Up Boss to track investors through a sales funnel.

2. Investor Relations:

  • Introduce investor relationships to M&A DevCo projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential investors, including venture capitalists, angel investors, and institutional investors.
  • Manage communication and information flow between the company and its current and potential investors.

3. Pitch and Presentation:

  • Present the company's value proposition, financial performance, and growth potential to prospective investors.

4. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential investors and funding opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and investment climate to position the company in the market better.

5. Due Diligence Coordination:

  • Coordinate the due diligence, providing potential investors with necessary information and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the fundraising process.

6. Networking and Outreach:

  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and pitch competitions to connect with potential investors.
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to identify and reach out to prospective investors.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, investor interactions, and communications.
  • Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress and performance for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 4 four years of experience in raising capital investments, venture capital, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successfully raising capital and managing investment portfolios.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
