About The Role & Team
We are looking for a talented financial services professional to join our Banking Operations team as a Banking Analyst. This team is the crossroads where all departments meet and as a Banking Associate you will play a pivotal part in middle office operations for our Canadian/international banking operations. Reporting to our Associate Director of Operations, this is an exciting opportunity to drive process improvements and optimize.
In This Role, You Will
- Serve as the first point of contact for banking-related issues in the Canadian Market and international business.
- Provide support during non-standard working hours to address urgent issues as they arise.
- Organize and coordinate vendor meetings, send agenda, and take meeting minutes.
- Coordinate the vendor integration process and enhance the new user experience with current vendors, ensuring active involvement from initiation to completion.
- Help draft reminders and disclosures for the UI page and test new updates on cash transfer/foreign exchange features in the app/desktop/website.
- Investigate and resolve inquiries regarding incoming wire transactions, reversals, accurately posting them to customer accounts and adding/reducing buying power as necessary.
- Review bank statements daily to facilitate the unfreezing of ACH/EFT banking links.
- Confirm and support the verification processes for outgoing wires and check requests.
- Contribute to the optimization of operational processes and workflows.
- Take ownership of client issues by conducting thorough research and ensuring effective communication and resolution.
- Diligently follow risk controls and escalation procedures during fraud investigations to minimize exposure to risk.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Business management or related field.
- Familiarity with cash transactions (such as EFT, e-transfer, Bill pay and wire transfers for Canada, ACH, wire, debit card for US and Exchange for other markets)
- Familiar with Fraud techniques and resolution
- Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

- You have your SIE or Series 7 License
- You are a creative, fast-learner and exceptional attention to detail
- Fluent in Mandarin

At Webull, we are committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year + yearly discretionary bonus + benefits. The final offer will depend on several factors, including the successful candidate's skills, depth of work experience, location, and relevant licenses/ qualifications. Each offer is determined based on individual strengths and relevant business considerations.
