K9s For Warriors is the nation's largest provider of service dogs to veterans suffering from the invisible wounds of war, such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Our unique, in-house program helps change the lives of American heroes by pairing them with a battle buddy, who was likely a rescue dog and then teaching him or her to utilize that dog to mitigate the symptoms of their wounds. Campus Coordinator to join our amazing team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements - Previous Reception, Administration, and HR experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Role and Responsibilities The Campus Coordinator serves as the first point of contact to K9s' visitors and must be personable, well-spoken, have a thorough knowledge of the organization and its mission, a general knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and possess administrative skills. To succeed in this position, the Campus Coordinator should be enthusiastic about K9s' mission and culture, and possess a strong work ethic, integrity, and the ability to work in a purposeful team environment that supports the organization and leadership in the daily administration of assigned activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Welcoming visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone and notifying the appropriate team members of arrival
- Providing a consistent K9s' experience to each visitor and team member that is in alignment with organizational mission, culture, and core values
- Accepting and signing for mail, in-kind donations, and deliveries, then distributing them to correct recipients using office mailing system in a timely, organized manner
- Monitoring several email accounts for the organization and promptly directing them to the correct department or team member
- Managing several calendars, including making and tracking appointments, calendaring community events, and sending reminders.
- Keeping the front desk resources up to date and the area organized and clean.
- Facilitate and track campus maintenance requests
- Coordinate campus new hire badge and IT access in collaboration with the Director of Operations
- Be point of initial contact for campus IT troubleshooting
- Assist HR Department with the preparation of onboarding documents/packets and facilitation with new hires
- Coordinate meeting logistics including room set-up and catering
- Providing administrative support to company departments as needed, and as assigned by local leadership
Physical Demands Ability to exert a moderate to extensive amount of physical effort, including stooping, crouching, twisting, turning, walking stairs, climbing, driving long distances, and lifting objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. Exposure to unpleasant odors, loud noises, chemicals, and inclement weather.
