Administrative Assistant at YMCA Camping Services, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a dynamic and engaging environment where every child thrives. Your days will be filled with excitement as you support our year around hiring, help with our accounting & payroll, and be a critical role to back office team year round. While assisting our administration in supporting our off season and summer groups, you'll be a beacon of positivity and guidance for our camp participants.
What you'll do: - Provide a full range of administrative, clerical and department support to Staff Hiring, Accounting, and Payroll, and Human Resource Tasks on site and/or at our 3 Camp Locations
- Support the administrative needs of group that rent our three camps
- Help recruit new groups to help rent & use our three camps
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong aptitude in their specialty area and should have experience teaching or coaching children.
What we're looking for: - Must be at least 21 years of age
- 2 years of experience working in a fast paced office environment, preferred
- 2 years or more experience in administrative tasks such as HR, Payroll, Accounts Payables & Receivables, and Customer Service
- Strong oral and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Programs; data entry and word processing skills
- Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified, or be willing to get certified
- Must adhere to Camping Services Staff Manual
