Job Summary We are seeking a Call Centre Representative to provide outstanding customer service and patient support in a dynamic healthcare call centre environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inbound calls, verifying patient information, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential to meet the scheduling needs of our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities - Verify and update patient demographic information to ensure accuracy in medical records.
- Screen patients for program eligibility and collect relevant care-related information.
- Schedule appointments in accordance with medical urgency and organizational guidelines.
- Conduct appointment reminder calls, manage reschedules, and assist with lab-related scheduling.
- Respond to general inquiries and provide clear, accurate information to patients.
- Maintain availability for evening and weekend shifts, as needed.
- Attend mandatory training sessions, workshops, and meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 months of experience in a medical office or customer service role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications (if any) - One year of experience in a medical office or healthcare call centre.
- Background in community or public health settings.
- Completion of a medical practice management or healthcare administration program.
