Position Overview The Call Center serves as the primary contact for Commercial customers placing orders over the phone. Customer Service Representatives have extensive knowledge of Commercial products, in addition, to all product lines offered by STI. They are fueled by dedication and play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers' expectations.
What You'll Do - Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding their equipment, parts, and related inquiries, troubleshooting and resolving issues as necessary.
- Manage high call volumes while maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure.
- Conduct parts lookup for Golf Course and Commercial Irrigation and Turf products.
- Assist customers through sales process by entering orders through the P21 system
- Contact vendors to verify the status, pricing, and availability of parts orders.
- Collaborate with the field sales team to improve customer satisfaction.
- Foster a team-oriented atmosphere by working closely with colleagues.
- Process warranty claims and returns, ensuring warranty returns are expedited to the manufacturer.
- Provide assistance to other associates and departments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and help restock the showroom and parts bins.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of frequently purchased items, coordinating with the Purchasing Department for optimal inventory management.
- Participate in inventory spot counts and contribute to inventory control efforts.
- Communicate product information and order releases with the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Accounting departments.
- Conduct customer outreach programs to promote specific inventory items, complete surveys and questionnaires, and inform customers about monthly specials.
Skills We Are Seeking • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a call center environment
• Experience in golf course, commercial irrigation or Turf products is a plus
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle complex customer issues in a professional manner
• Strong working knowledge of computers and MS Office Suite
• High school diploma or its equivalent is required
