Job Title: Call Center/Collections Rep


Location: Winterville, NC


Pay: $15.00/hourly ($22/hr once hired permanently)


Schedule: Must be flexible for Mandatory OT

Monday - Sunday 8:00am to 9:00pm

EOM Hours - Bell to Bell (7am to 8pm or 8am to 9pm with two 1 hour lunches)

Sunday Dialer - You will be scheduled for 1-2 dialer Sunday per quarter, however, you may be required to work addition Sunday hours which depends on when the month ends.

Holidays - The call center is open most holidays for temporary employees and volunteers to work. Holidays on (Monday or Friday).



Job Summary:

Collect delinquent accounts in a timely, orderly and professional manner while following all standardized collections procedures. Make supervisor aware of problem accounts that may result in repossession, foreclosure, or charge-of.


Job Duties:

  • Collect delinquent accounts promptly and professionally, following standardized procedures

  • Meet performance expectations for collection efforts, including call quotas, contact percentage, and promises kept

  • Negotiate payment arrangements with clients, assessing their ability and willingness to pay

  • Document all collection efforts accurately and professionally in the collection system

  • Communicate regularly with collections supervisor, and ensure thorough work on delinquent accounts according to standardized procedures


Ideal Candidate:

  • 3 years of Customer Service experience - REQUIRED

  • No time off needs during first 90 days - REQUIRED

  • Call Center experience - highly preferred

  • Bilingual - highly preferred

  • Good communication, decision-making, and time management skills are essential

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ability to work in a team environment


On-boarding Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Criminal Background & Drug Screening

  • 2 verifiable employment references
