LOCATION: In person, at the office in Carmel, Indiana. This is not a remote position.SHIFT: Evening shift, with an end time no later than 8:00 PM. Candidates must also have availability to be scheduled as early as 8:00 AM, if needed. Shifts typically last up to 9 hours.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Meet or exceed closing ratio and sales quotas in an accountability-based culture.
- Possess strong understanding and enthusiasm for technology, especially for Metronet products and services.
- Maintain detailed sales product knowledge, including competitive information.
- Provide superior product knowledge and sales acumen in all customer interactions. Evaluate customers' potential product needs and make appropriate recommendations.
- Utilize upselling techniques to proactively offer customers higher speeds and ancillary services such as Static IP, Wi-Fi extenders and any new add-on services available for sale.
- Be accountable for sales volume, sales close %, multi-product sales (bundles), and other quotas as set by management.
- Stay up-to-date on new policies, procedures, systems, customer promotions, and technology that will facilitate the achievement of sales goals on a consistent basis.
- Provide regular feedback to leadership on Metronet policies and sales promotions.
- Inform management about competitive threats and new plans/programs that might impact sales goals.
- Utilize retention techniques, when needed, to retain existing customers and prevent cancellations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment while consistently meeting quotas and goals.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related sales experience
- Sales and customer service experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to close sales along with customer service, initiative, and problem-solving competencies
