Full Time and Part Time Medical Call Center Agent - $14.50
Key Responsibilities: Answer high volumes of inbound calls (50-70+ per day) in a courteous and professional manner.
Schedule, confirm, and cancel patient appointments according to protocols.
Provide accurate information regarding medical services, providers, and insurance coverage.
Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
Document all patient interactions accurately in the system.
Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Assist with outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and patient satisfaction surveys.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a medical call center or healthcare environment preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance processes is an advantage.
Strong computer and data entry skills; experience with EMR systems preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and empathetic when dealing with patients.
Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
