As Calibration Repair Engineer you will be part of a team responsible for repairs, calibration and adjust a wide range of test and measurement equipment from a wide range of electrical and physical parameters. You will become an integral member of the team and make a significant contribution to business in achieving its ambitious business growth plans.

Responsibilities
  1. To repair units to component level
  2. To source equipment specifications when necessary
  3. To look at ways of improving test techniques and increasing parameters.
  4. To maintain high quality levels throughout
  5. To provide the administration team with timely data
  6. To maintain and safeguard the integrity of test equipment and company standards.
  7. To maintain turn round times to a minimum level
  8. To keep a tidy and well-ordered environment
KPIs
  1. Repair and calibrate a wide range of multi-parameter test equipment from a range of industry sectors
  2. Enter data correctly and update the job progression system
  3. Ensure customers' requirements are met
  4. Provide certificate details when calibration complete.
  5. Accurately recording personal activity against KPI's.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
  1. HNC in electrical/electronic minimum or a similar discipline
  2. Or demonstrable qualification through experience
  3. Experience within the Instrumentation Industry or previous repair experience in an electrical electronic role.
  4. Must be able to repair to component level
  5. Must be able to read circuit diagrams
  6. Must have good soldering ability
  7. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  8. Sound mathematical knowledge.
  9. Knowledge of quality standards/systems
  10. Good interpersonal skills.
  11. Willing to listen, learn and improve.
  12. Display adaptability and flexibility to learn new tasks as required by the needs of the business.
