We have a great opportunity for a Field Service Calibration Technician to join our team.

In this role you will:
  • Perform calibrations on test and measurement instrumentation at customer locations (on-site) and in the Charlotte calibration laboratory. Some overnight travel will be required
  • Use your troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to work on unique equipment
  • Be responsible for customer satisfaction on all equipment and services
  • Create and verify calibration data sheets for technical content and accuracy based upon specifications and approved procedures
  • This position will involve frequent travel (overnight and local) to service our customers


Requirements

As a Calibration Technician you should possess:
  • Military (PMEL) experience or two years of a technical associates degree
  • Minimum of four years of commercial or military laboratory experience
  • Experienced in several calibration disciplines such as: Physical/Dimensional, Torque, DC/LF Electronics, Pressure and Temperature
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 requirements
  • Availability to travel up to 80% (including overnight) to service Charlotte laboratory customers
  • Valid driver's license

And we would prefer:
  • Knowledge of ANSI / NCSL Z-540-1 and ISO 9000
  • Experience using Automated Calibration Software such as Met/Cal
