Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Food Service Worker / Custodian. This role is vital to the day-to-day success of our campus-helping to prepare and serve nutritious meals to students and staff, while also maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept school facility.

Responsibilities

Food Service Duties:
  • Prepare, serve, and clean up breakfast and lunch meals in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cafeteria areas
  • Follow food safety and health regulations
  • Receive and store food and supply deliveries
Custodial Duties:
  • Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and other campus areas
  • Take out trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform other routine cleaning tasks
  • Assist with minor maintenance and report any facility issues
  • Support with event setup/cleanup and other custodial duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in food service and/or custodial work is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Friendly, cooperative, and student-centered attitude
  • Must pass background check and fingerprinting as required by Texas law
