Job Title: Café Manager The Café Manager supports the daily operations of an Infuse Hospitality location, working closely with the General Manager to lead front-of-house service, team performance, and guest experience. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth café operations, mentoring team leads and baristas, and helping to drive sales through exceptional service and team alignment. The Café Manager serves as a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership- Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment at all times.
- Step in to lead shifts and support the team on the floor as needed.
Team Support & Development- Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
- Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and guidance to baristas and leads.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture rooted in Infuse's core values.
Guest Experience- Maintain high-touch, consistent service standards across all touchpoints.
- Act as a key point of contact for guest concerns and ensure swift resolution.
- Encourage proactive hospitality, anticipating guest needs before they arise.
Inventory & Ordering- Monitor inventory levels and organize storage spaces.
- Manage ordering of café supplies and ensure proper receiving practices.
- Communicate with GM regarding par levels and waste reduction opportunities.
Administrative Support- Assist with labor management, scheduling input, and tracking punches.
- Support GM in preparing reports, conducting audits, and tracking daily metrics.
- Help maintain checklists, logs, and standard operating procedures.
Quality Control & Compliance- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
- Conduct routine quality checks on products, presentation, and equipment.
- Ensure the café aligns with company policies and compliance requirements.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in a café or food service supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of coffee, espresso drinks, and café operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Food Safety Manager Certification, knowledge of regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally, along with the confidence to lead a team and oversee high-touch hospitality service.
- Proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Comfortable with POS systems (Square preferred), scheduling tools, and basic reporting.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and occasional early or late shifts.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
