Job Title: Café Operations Manager As a vital leader in our café, you will be instrumental in supporting the daily operations at Infuse Hospitality. Collaborating closely with the General Manager, you will oversee front-of-house service, foster team performance, and enhance guest experiences. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership - Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests.
- Lead shifts and actively support the team on the floor as needed.
Team Support & Development - Assist in onboarding and training new team members to promote team excellence.
- Provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback to baristas and leads, enhancing their skills.
- Encourage a positive, team-oriented culture that aligns with Infuse's core values.
Guest Experience - Ensure high-touch, consistent service across all guest interactions.
- Act as a key point of contact for guest concerns, addressing them swiftly and effectively.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs, creating memorable experiences.
Inventory & Ordering - Monitor inventory levels and optimize storage organization.
- Manage café supply orders and ensure proper receiving practices.
- Communicate with the General Manager on inventory levels and waste reduction opportunities.
Administrative Support - Assist with labor management and scheduling to maintain efficiency.
- Support the General Manager in report preparation, audits, and metric tracking.
- Help maintain operational checklists, logs, and standard procedures.
Quality Control & Compliance - Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health standards rigorously.
- Conduct routine quality checks on products, presentation, and equipment.
- Ensure the café adheres to company policies and compliance requirements.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a café or food service setting.
- Strong understanding of coffee, espresso drinks, and café operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both guests and team members.
- Food Safety Manager Certification, along with knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Proven leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Comfortable using POS systems (Square preferred), scheduling tools, and basic reporting.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and occasional early or late shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
