Responsibilities:
  • Promote use of Civil 3D including Gateway's standards and procedures.
  • Provide training and technical support to CADD users.
  • Manage and maintain the CADD Helpdesk, CADD Standards, and CADD Detail Library.
  • Collaborate with the Design Technology team and others as required.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings as required.
  • Provide in-office support for the entire organization.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
  • General design software knowledge of Autodesk, Adobe, Bluebeam, Bentley, Hydroflow, Culvert Master, RISA, Trimble Business Center, RAM, PCSWMM, and Sketchup.
  • CADD software and applications including Civil 3D, Revit, Site Ops, ACA, and SSA.
  • CADD standards including xrefs, data refs, profiles, and layer management.
  • Knowledge of the A/E/C industry.
  • Data collection hardware and software including post processing data, drones, and coordinate systems.
  • User/license management including renewals.
  • Technical writing including documenting processes and communication to end users.
  • ESRI integration and basic GIS knowledge.
  • Tech support including problem solving, trouble shooting, helpdesk tickets, and working one-on-one with end users regularly.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
This opportunity requires:

Education
  • An Associate's Degree in CAD, Design Technology, or related field preferred
Experience
  • 0-2 years' experience
  • Customer service background
