KO2's client are a Sheffield-based manufacturing business looking for a hands-on CAD Engineer / Draughtsperson to join the team and keep the quotes going out the door. The Role:
You'll be sat at a CAD station most of the day, churning out accurate, production-ready CAD models and drawings. This is not a pure R&D gig - it's real-world draughting and order processing.
- Use DriveWorks to generate models - plug in the numbers, let the system do its thing.
- When needed, tweak and modify designs - reposition a hole, add a bracket, adjust a part.
- Prep 2D & 3D AutoCAD drawings for customer approval and manufacturing.
- Work on a wide range of products
- It's about repetition and reliability, not reinventing the wheel every day.
- You'll be working onsite in Sheffield, 5 days a week, alongside a laid-back but hard-working team.
What KO2's client is After:
- 2+ years' experience in a CAD/Draughting role.
- Solid skills in SolidWorks and some exposure to DriveWorks (or willing to learn it fast).
- Comfortable with 2D AutoCAD for drawing tweaks and approvals.
- Someone who enjoys the rhythm of high-volume CAD work - organised, steady, accurate.
- Happy working onsite in Sheffield every day.
Salary:
35,000 + friendly team, real work, no nonsense.
