Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a CAD/BIM Specialist with a Top-Secret clearance to support KTS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Troubleshoot and answer questions from production staff directly related to the AutoCAD and Civil 3D suite of products. Have strong technical knowledge of part builders and ability to build specialized parts on a regular basis. Have strong technical knowledge of pipe networks, corridors and surface creation/editing. Assist in coordination and quality of Civil production graphics. Help train users on pipe networks, corridor modeling, surface modeling and site and survey workflows. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, and resources. Assist and review efforts of the Discipline Subject Matter Experts (SME(s and Application Experts. Develop and execute in-house training schedule and curriculum. Fundamental understanding of site civil plans, grading and profiles. Develop/maintain BIM production procedures, standards, and techniques for increased productivity and quality. Develop improvements to implement production procedures, standards and techniques for increased productivity and quality. Have strong technical knowledge of individual's field as well as symbols and graphic standards and nomenclature through direct discipline experience. Ensure that the team is on the cutting edge of new technology and provide methods for the firm to learn and stay on top of the latest trends. Apply analytical techniques and software to solve more intricate and involved engineering issues on projects. Evolve the team to a center of excellence and resource for the firm. Maintain familiarity with current accepted standards and methods for construction in the engineering industry. Maintain basic knowledge of individual's discipline. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Minimum 5 years of experience directly with the MEP / S disciplines and working in a BIM platform for an A/E/C firm. Highly proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and Microsoft office applications - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency and a minimum of 5 years' experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet simultaneous deadlines. Believe in and practice teamwork with Virtual Design Group and production teams.
