Job Description: The Bill of Material Analyst/CAD Admin at Airstream is a split role. Much of the job function is focused on creating/maintaining the part master, bills of material and other related data in the ERP system. The remaining portion of the job function is focused on providing CAD related support to engineering and operations.
Job Summary & Responsibility As a BOM Analyst/CAD Admin at Airstream, your primary responsibility will be to work with cross functional teams to maintain bills of material and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in support of project implementations. I addition, you will provide technical support and subject matter expertise in the company's CAD software.
Key Job Responsibilities: BOM
- Support new model year projects by publishing New Parts lists, setting up Product Configuration models and using conditions to define options.
- Support current models by processing change requests (PCRs).
- Interpret Engineering drawings to determine requirements for product options.
CAD Administrator
- Provide technical support to the Engineering and Operations teams with the company's CAD system.
- Perform physical installation, maintenance, and configuration of CAD software.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Vault Professional, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
- Assist in creation and adherence of standards defined by the standards committee.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate's degree in business or engineering technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 to 5 years working experience in the manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with Bill of Material creation or design engineering
- Proficiency in Excel and Vault/Inventor
- Works well with a cross functional team
