Pay Rate: $48.00 to $50.00 per hr.
Conversion Salary: $100K-$120K
The Backend Software Engineer is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining backend applications. This role involves monitoring system performance, ensuring smooth operation of applications, and producing reports and documentation detailing findings and solutions. The position is part of the Mobile Banking App in the Technology department. While the role is currently remote, the candidate must be based in one of the four specified cities, as it will transition to a hybrid model in the future.
Primary Responsibilities
- ssists with the development and installation of new hardware and software. Installs and configure systems and other software
- Tests installed software for malfunction detection. Identifies and resolves business systems issues
- Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
- Measures the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.
- Monitors and tests system performance.
- Performs work with some independence of thought, but refers to more complex problems to senior associates or supervisor/manager
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience with .NET Framework
- 3 years of experience with Cloud native
- Microservices Architecture
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- 3 years of experience with RESTful API Development
