Key Responsibilities
- Architect, development and implement REST APIs in a microservices environment, ensuring high availability, security, and alignment with governance standards.
- Architect and implement microservices using GraphQL and REST, adhering to modern microservices principles.
- Design, build, and test scalable APIs and platform services with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Act as primary liaison with the API management vendor.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy high-quality cloud-native services.
- Define and promote governance best practices for secure and efficient API development across the organization.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in API management, and .NET development with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
- 4+ years in a Technical Lead/Application Architect role within a professional environment.
- Knowledge of API management platforms (e.g., WSO2, MuleSoft), including governance and implementation.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture, integration, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: .NET, AWS (Serverless services), CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SAML, OAuth, OpenID.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
