Title: C Developer
Location: Northeast Region with 3 days/wk on site
Description:
We are seeking a skilled C Developer with experience in enterprise-level financial systems to support the design, development, and maintenance of applications in a hybrid trading and transaction processing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise, a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, and familiarity with messaging systems and database technologies. This individual will work closely with business users to develop solutions supporting financial workflows, analytics, and trading operations.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in C software development
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, design patterns, and template libraries
Proficiency in structured query language and database systems, including transaction and index management
Experience with messaging systems and middleware technologies
Familiarity with version control, issue tracking, and build automation tools
Solid problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working in hybrid computing environments
Desired Skills:
Prior experience in financial transaction systems, particularly in fixed income or related areas
Understanding of securities lending, repo, or collateral management operations
Exposure to scripting languages for automation or tooling support
Experience collaborating with trading desks or front-office stakeholders

Pay range: $47.50-$67.85 per hour
