Job Summary The BYU Women's Basketball Assistant Coach will assist the head coach in organizing and directing various aspects of a highly competitive, Division I basketball program.

Duties/Expectations:
- Recruitment of student-athletes
- Compliance to NCAA and University rules and regulations
- Provide leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes
- attend and assist in conducting regular practice sessions
- Monitor eligibility status and promote academic progress
- Compile data and reports as requested
- Participate in clinics, exhibitions, and camps as requested
- Assist in maintaining good alumni and booster relations
What Qualifies You to Apply? Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (must have required degree by start date)
- Basketball playing and/or coaching experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Division I basketball and NCAA rules and regulations
- Willingness to uphold and live by the university's Honor Code
- All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend, which may be verified during the application process.
Preferred:
- College coaching experience (strongly preferred)
- Recruiting experience
- Knowledge and understanding of university policies
